Though this is a tough and very hard conversation, it is one that needs to be had. There is always a chance of backlash and those who say we should stop bashing our black men. However, if the truth is to be told it is not the male bashing that is the problem, but the nonchalant attitiude of those who try to comare the killing of black men by other black men tot hte agenda of black destruction of an entier cultre even while appropriating from it. In the act of war, the objective is to take out the strong and then exploit the weak. So, join me tonight and let us at least acknowledege the ele-hant in the room.

After a brief, but much-needed hiatus, The Author's Alley is back in it's new and permanent home!!
And we are excited to bring you tonight's show. You all are in for a treat, as we have two very talented authors in the building!!
For the first hour, we have Tiara "Mysterious Ford, a spoken word artist, poet, and novelist. She is the author of the poetry books "Completely Blessed", and "Completely Poetic: A Birth Defect", as well as the non-fiction novel "Talented And Complete". We will talk to her about her writing journey, her books, and her personal advocacy for Mental Health awareness.
For the second hour, we have another powerhouse author in the name of Laura Simmons, 1/2 of the dynamic duo of the MDT or the Mother-Daughter Team! She will be discussing her writing journey as well discussing her latest release: "Lil Brothers, Hear Me Out!" We will also her mission to empower youths to be limitless. Add a great mix of music, and we got the makings of a great show!
